THE HUNTER ORION OVER THE WAVES OF MUMLAVA

The Mumlava river is creating, about 10 m high waterfall in Mumlava mine near Harrachov. It is almoust a mile away from Harrachov along the asphalt road. Therefore, it is also one of the most visited waterfalls in the Czech republic. With my friend Thomas we had a plan where was the Mumlava waterfall and above it the rising sun. Unfortunately on the location we found out there we were late (thanks for the Photopills). The sun was rising, but not into the gap between the trees as we assumed. This plan we saved for spring, when the sun will be coming back to the gap in the trees. In approximately 14 days we have decided to return, this time to take a picture of a waterfall with the milky way. I really shouldn´t underestimate the value of preparation. This time the moon betrayed us because it was setting in the morning. But we had a little bit of luck. The moon for a moment hid behind a cloud and over a waterfall appeared Orion in all its glory.
