Panská skála, as this rock outcrop is called, is today a national natural monument and since 1895 also the oldest geological reserve in our country. Due to the fact that it is a volcanic basalt formation consisting of pentagonal to hexagonal columns, which are arranged vertically and some are up to 12 meters long, mining took place here.
