CLOSE ENCOUNTERS

After two years, I finally decided to process the data I obtained on the night of July 22-23, 2020. An event that was observable from us for the last time in 1997. And that was the passage of a comet that we could observe with our own naked eyes. Officially named C2020 F3, the comet was first spotted on March 27, 2020 by NASA´s Near Earth Object Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer. When you combine the first letters you get NEOWISE. Comet Neowise last visited us approximately 2500 years before Christ, and its next visit can perhaps be expected around the year 8800, i.e. in less than 7000 years. During this journey, the comet will move away from the Sun over 100 billion kilometers. What about you? Have you also observed this comet?
